SAN JOSE SHARKS

The San Jose Sharks hold an annual celebration called "Los Tiburones" ("The Sharks" in Spanish) with an arena giveaway and special player warmup featuring jerseys designed by local artists. I was asked to create a graphic and typeset for the night. I wanted to highlight a volcano, present in many Latinx countries and on several of their flags. Spotlighting the hammerhead shark raises awareness of the risk of endangerment faced by many of these species.
